The CHINQUAPIN is a small native chestnut tree that grows wild across South Carolina, including the sandy hills around Columbia. The name has a Native American origin - and the tree itself is tough and resilient. When hardship comes, whether drought, fire or disease, the chinquapin often grows back from its roots stronger than before. Its spiny outer shell protects a sweet nut that has fed wildlife and families for generations.
Like the CHINQUAPIN, we are a small service provider strongly rooted in our community. We offer a home, a family and quality supports because we believe in the strength of every person to grow again.
